Understanding Mental Health Stigma.

An interactive seminar raising awareness around mental health, mental illness, stigma and discrimination.

By the end of the session you will:

• Have a better understanding of what mental health stigma and discrimination are
• How this affects people’s recovery from metal illness
• Why it’s an important issue to tackle
• Have the opportunity to join the Stigma Free Lanarkshire movement for change by identifying small actions
• Know how to access resources and tools

This is one of a series of seminars being planned by the NL CVS Mental Health & Wellbeing Network and is open to anyone within North Lanarkshire working in the area of Mental Health or just having an interest in Mental Health.
