Still Life in Charcoal - Working in Charcoal, all materials provided

Join our friendly, local group of artists of all abilities. We experiment with different projects each week.

We will spend two hours drawing with charcoal, discussing how to get the best of of this classical medium. All materials provided, we will be using compressed and willow charcoal on white sugar paper. There will be a still life of natural objects to study. Fixative will be provied, but this must be sprayed outdoors.

There is a tea urn, with tetley tea bags and semi skimmed cows milk provided. Bring alternative if required. Please bring your own mug.

Parking is available at the B&M carpark, you can get 3 hours for free. Group takes place on the first floor of the Penicuik Town Hall in the Council Chambers room. There is a lift available to use if required.
