Event description

Description

PRICE: £50

Learn how to create a totally unique fabric for appliqué, using all your fabric snippets and offcuts. You will then use this fabric to create a stitched textile collage to your own design, with a background made from recycled linens, papers and lace. You will stitch your collage with basic sewing machine stitches, and embellish it with free-motion machine embroidery. You can also learn how to use thicker threads in the bobbin to add extra details if you wish. This workshop is for beginners to machine embroidery, as well as those with more experience. Sewing machine experience needed.
