Stitched with Love: Stories of Family Migration

“Stitched with Love” is a collaborative quilt-making project involving families affected by the Hostile Environment in the UK family visa system. Emerging from practice-led PhD research, this exhibition presents quilt-making as both a creative research method and a form of storytelling that stitches together personal and collective narratives of family migration.

The exhibition is situated in the Kingsway Corridor, Goldsmiths University of London. To get to Kingsway, enter the Richard Hoggart Building, follow the corridor, either to the right or left, and Kingsway is just after the quad.

This exhibition is part of a practice-led research project, conducted and curated by Phavine Phung, a PhD candidate in visual sociology. More info on the project: stitchedwithlovequilt.wordpress.com
