Frequently asked questions
The Pimlico Library Stitching Circle is aimed at adults. Mature children (aged 12+) and teens are welcome to attend. You don't need a Westminster library membership to participate.
This is a drop-in session for people to work on their projects together. It's not a formal taught class. Usually, our attendees have a range of experience and skills, and somebody in the group should be able to help you out.
We will provide a range of knitting and crochet books that you can refer to and learn techniques. Where possible, someone in the group will try to answer your questions. However please note that this is not a taught class, and the aim of the session is supported self-learning.
We will provide some knitting needles, crochet hooks and yarns for you to practice on during the session, so that you can have a go at it before buying your own materials and tools.
No, just turn up! We recommend coming at the start (2pm), especially if you want to do some problem-solving.
