Stocking Fillers: The Christmas Collection brings three new plays targeted at families with young children from Luminescence Theatre Company.
Each play is packed with seasonal fun and interactive elements, written, directed by and featuring the trio behind Luminescence.
This August, Archie, Nate and Sarah take to the stage in their elf outfits to film the collection, scheduled for a digital release in winter 2025. The digital format is important to us as it enables performances to be watched over and over again, and from any device in any location with an internet connection.
Join Luminescence Theatre Company for a sneak preview as we film our new plays at the Uplands Community Centre on the main hall stage.
Note that this event is not your typical theatre event. This is an invitation to see the creative process behind a Luminescence production. There may be stops and starts during the performance, and at times your view may be restricted by filming. The end time is an estimation, the event will end no later than 4pm but it could finish earlier.
Luminescence Theatre Company is a social enterprise founded to serve the areas of Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth in 2023. We are using theatre as a means of connecting with the community, and providing the space to discuss ideas about thought-provoking topics. In the past, we have brought artificial intelligence to life, and we are currently working on an innovative production about wildlife conservation in the local countryside.
