Description

Local experts in stone and ironwork conservation will be talking about the stone and metalwork industries in Bath, including an explanation of stone repair and replacement referring to sites in around Bath and some of the key issues at Sydney Gardens. There will then be a short tour of the park identifying the areas requiring conservation work.

This talk is part of the Sydney Gardens Parks for People Project.


Accesibility:

The venue is step free and we will be moving on paths during the tour. Contact the event organiser for further information if required.


Parking:

Free parking is availble around the edge of the park on Sydney Road (some bays are two hours, some are four) but they are often full, so leave plenty of time to find a parking space.


Toilets:

There is a free accessible toilet at the venue as well as nearby public toilets (20p).
