Stonehaugh Astronomy - Astrophotography

Stonehaugh Astronomy - Astrophotography

By Liam Reid - Stonehaugh Enterprises

Overview

Astrophotography or low light photography requires a diffrent approach to day time photography, the results can be spectacular.

This is Not a stargazing event!

Do you own a Digital SLR camera?Do you fancy a new challenge?Then why not try your hand at landscape astrophotography.Join us up at Stonehaugh where we will show you how to adjust your camera settings for low light photography. We can look at composition and working with silhouettes.

Weather permitting we will spend the night capturing the Milkyway, if the weather is against us, then we can play with a bit of light painting.

The event is held in Northumberland, England and as such we feel we need to add this disclaimer;

We at Stonehaugh Astronomy are unable to control or influence the weather in any way, weather conditions can impede or prevent our ability to observe.

All events will proceed regardless of the weather and guests are advised that you can have fun in the dark, in the middle of nowhere if you get involved fully and immerse yourself in the night.

Come and have fun while you learn.
