About this event
Norovirus is a very common gastrointestinal virus which causes diarrhoea and vomiting. Many people refer to it as ‘gastric flu’ or the ‘winter vomiting bug’. It is a highly infectious virus spreading easily from person to person at any time of the year, however, particularly during the winter.
The ‘Stop the Spread’ workshop aims to support providers in preparing for infection prevention and control winter challenges and ensuring everyone takes responsibility to help control the spread of organisms including the Norovirus bugs.
