Discover some of the stories behind the graves and how this beautiful cemetery was transformed from 'a dead space to a living place'.
About this event
Our volunteer guides will help you to explore this three-acre space and introduce you to some of the personalities who are buried here. Each guide has their favourite stories to share and you will have your own interests and questions, so no two tours will be the same - but they will be enlightening!
There are wide paths and plenty of seating to make this an accessible tour for buggies, wheelchairs and other mobility aids. Dogs on leads are welcome.
The tours take place on MOST but not all Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays during April, May and June. Tours are free, but we hope you will wish to make a donation towards the continued upkeep of the cemetery.
