Stories From Syria' is a record of the life journey of elderly Syrian refugees who have made Scotland their new home in recent years. They call themselves the 'Happiness Group' and are one of the community projects facilitated by Re-Act, Refugee Action Scotland.

The Happiness Group have been working with Citadel Arts Group since early 2021 on this storytelling project, documenting the history of who they are and are delighted to share the final printed version with you, with thanks to the Robertson Scholarship Trust and Foundation Scotland for helping to make it all happen.

This event is a celebration of the creation of this book and an opportunity to enjoy Syrian food and music in the company of the authors. You will also have a chance to purchase copies of the book itself.
