Ever wondered about the numerous and eclectic sculptures dotted around Waterloo? From 1682 to 2022, through Waterloo Station, St Thomas' Hospital and Archbishop's Park, they embody history about Lambeth and beyond. Come and hear their stories, on this 100-minute guided walk.

The tour includes steps, ramps and escalators. If you have mobility concerns, please contact the organiser and we will do our best to accommodate everybody.

How long is the tour?

The tour will last approx 1 hour 40 minutes. We will walk a total distance of about 1 mile (1.6km).

Are there any toilets?

There are public toilets at the beginning of the walk, in London Waterloo Station. There are also toilets in St Thomas' Hospital that we can use during the walk. We will finish the walk in Archbishop's Park, which does not have public toilets, but is close to St Thomas' Hospital.

Is the tour suitable for children?

The tour is not unsuitable for children but it is aimed at adults. Children who may be interested are welcome.

Can I bring my dog?

As we will be walking through St Thomas' Hospital, the tour is not suitable for dogs.

Will the tour go ahead in bad weather?

The tour will go ahead in any weather, unless extreme weather creates dangerous conditions. The organiser will contact walkers by email if that is the case. Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear for the weather conditions.

Can I get a refund?

You will get a refund if you cancel one day or more before the tour date. If you need to cancel on the day, please contact the organiser for a refund. Unfortunately, Eventbrite's fee is non-refundable.

Is the tour suitable for wheelchair users?

There are several changes of level, including steps and escalators. If the wheelchair user can access ramps and a lift, they will be able to join the tour. Please contact the tour organiser for details.
