Futurecity, a cultural placemaking agency, launches a new series of London Art Trails with a guided walk from London Bridge into the City of London. This pilot edition of the trail introduces audiences to five Futurecity public art projects, showcasing how artists and designers reimagine public spaces to reshape the city’s cultural landscape.
Along the way, you’ll encounter:
Boat by Daniel Silver - an evocative interpretation of an ancient Roman vessel unearthed on the site, introduced in conversation with the artist.
Mark Titchner’s thought-provoking Me. Here. Now. installation at London Bridge Station.
Jaume Plensa’s monumental sculpture WE, offering a moment of reflection on human connection in the urban landscape.
Illuminated River by Leo Villareal, a landmark light artwork transforming London’s bridges after dark.
The walk culminates with drinks at Seed130 to view In Bloom, our current exhibition in partnership with the National Trust and Transport for London.
