Welcome to Stories Of Hope and Humanity From The NHS

Please join us at The Montgomery on Thursday 18th September at 7.30pm for an evening of inspiring true stories told by people working in the NHS.

This event is an opportunity to witness hope and humanity as experienced by others, to appreciate diversity of lived experience, and to celebrate small moments that may go unseen. Stories can be many things: inspiring, challenging, uplifting, redemptive, connecting - what will you feel after hearing these?

I require disabled parking, where can I park nearby?

There is limited blue badge parking directly outside the front doors of the theatre and further down Surrey Street and on Norfolk Street: https://sheffieldcc.maps.arcgis.com/apps/instant/sidebar/index.html?appid=fda87c8d41524dde8681284e9d08bfa2 . Please see the FAQ below re current access issues.

I'm coming by car, where can I park?

Any of the city centre car parks are within a short walk. Q Park Charles Street offers one hour of parking free to theatre go-ers. Please speak to a member of the Front of House Team to claim your 1 hour free parking voucher. Please note that the discount voucher cannot be used when pre-booking.

Will there be an interval?

Yes there will be a interval of 20 mins within the evening. Please do stay for drinks and discussion in the bar afterwards

I've heard current building work is disrupting access around the theatre?

Yes, there are temporary access changes to the front of the building as follows: At present, there is only a 2 to 2.5 metre-wide gap between the site fencing and our main entrance. There remains 2 x accessible parking spaces on Surrey Street, with more located on Norfolk Street.
