There's a lack of connection in business, and it doesn't have to be that way. This is Andrew Thorp's belief and in this session he will explore what he means by 'connection' and how a storytelling approach can attract more clients AND lead to a more positive culture within a business. He points to the irony that storytelling in business is considered "cutting edge thinking" whereas in truth it's the oldest form of communication in the world!
This promises to be a lively, through-provoking and interactive session.
Andrew is a professional speaker, writer and trainer and co-founder of Mojo Your Business. He focuses on helping business owners and sales people tell a better story about themselves and their business, something he describes as 'Verbal PR'. In 2014 he was voted 'Speaker of the Year' by the Association of Professional Coaches, Trainers & Consultants and has spoken on many platforms both in the UK and overseas, including 2 appearances at TEDx. Clients include KPMG, the World Health Organization and the General Medical Council as well as a host of smaller enterprises. He has several publications to his name and recently co-authored the book, 'The Art of Connection'.
