Space information

The space does not have a solid door, but there is a baby gate across to stop escapees/anyone entering without notice. Not having a door does make it a little bit loud at the front of the space (because of music being played in the centre).The lights are on and bright - if it is too much, just tell us and we can switch them off and bring down a lamp if neeeded. We have a baby area, reading corner, dress up zone, wooden toys and When we are open fully, we will have a quiet zone upstairs to be accessed as needed.

What age is this for?

Any age! If your little one doesn't want to stay still for the story, that's no problem. We try and pick books that adults enjoy too!

How do I find the space?

If you are coming from the bus station or Asda car park, first go downstairs to the ground floor. Then walk past Costa, Greggs, The Works and we are on the right hand side.

What if I need to feed in private?

We have a cosy sofa space in the back of the shop, and depending on the set up on the day we can add screens or it is blocked from view by the maternity clothes bank

What's the toilet situation?

We have a single toilet upstairs in the space. However, the centre has a changing places toilet (accessible with a radar key) as well as baby change and toilets both by the lifts and inside Asda.

Where do I park?

There is 3 hours of free parking in the Asda multistorey at the Cornbow Centre

Can I bring a sibling/partner/friend/relative?

Yes, of course.
