Everyone has a story. What’s yours?

StoryShare MK is a brand-new community event, which has been running for 2 months in Milton Keynes where stories take centre stage at The Box, Arts Central.

Here’s how it works:

📝 Anyone who attends can put their name in a hat.

🎤 Ten names are drawn to share a five minute personal true story.

👂 The audience listens, connects, and leaves uplifted and inspired.

This isn’t about being a polished speaker. It’s about being human. Sharing what matters. Creating a safe, welcoming space where voices are heard and stories are celebrated.

This is a "Moth inspired" event.

Sometimes we’ll set a theme. Other times, the floor is open. January’s theme is ‘A Year From Now… Share a story about the life you hope to be living this time next year or a moment from your past when you dared to look ahead."

You’ll also pick up simple techniques for shaping short stories that make an impact.

Doors open 6pm, put your name in the hat if you wish to speak and event starts promptly at 6.30pm. Door closes at 6.30pm. Event finishes at 8pm.
