Event description
A colourful, interactive storytelling session exploring courage & community!

About this Event

Join our master storytellers for an interactive storybook session - Settle in to hear Julie read a story that will spark and delight the imagination, before we gather for crafts activities inspired by the book!

What does it mean to be courageous? Who, or what might we stand up for? And how might we each find our own way to defend the things or the people we love?

This is a free event suitable for children aged 3 - 7 years old but all are welcome.

All materials will be provided.

We're thrilled to have two top humans leading this storytelling session - Julie Danskin, manager of the award winning Golden Hare Books, and Dr Anita J, known to many as the Lighthouse Beagle.

This event is part of Edinburgh's 23rd Independent & Radical Book Fair, which runs from the 14th-17th November 2019. Please follow the link for details of accessibility as well as the bookshop's safer spaces policy.

The Independent & Radical Book Fair is entirely run by Lighthouse- Edinburgh's Radical Bookshop and we receive no outside funding. To keep the event running in this spectacular and accessible space, and to make it as welcoming as possible, a third of all tickets are FREE, and the rest are by donation. Please give as generously as you can, either online or at the book fair!
