Stories are at the heart of how we connect, build understanding, and inspire change. For small charities, churches, and community groups, good storytelling is one of the most effective ways to share your mission, reach supporters, and demonstrate impact.

This online workshop, part of the Rooted & Resourced series and hosted by Together Liverpool’s Network of Kindness, will explore practical ways to improve your communications and storytelling. Whether you’re new to sharing stories or want more confidence in what you do, this session will give ideas and tips to help you tell your story more effectively.

In this free session for Network of Kindness members, we’ll cover:

  • Why storytelling matters – building community, strengthening fundraising, and inspiring support.
  • Practical ways to gather and share stories – including quotes, photos, video, newsletters, websites, and social media.
  • Good practice and confidence – keeping things simple, ethical, and safe with consent, safeguarding, and GDPR.

This is the second of a four-part Rooted & Resourced series, delivered by Together Liverpool staff.
