Oat Jenner leads a workshop exploring how playfulness can be used as a creative tool. You’ll try out games and acting exercises to open up the imagination, work together and discover how play can be an important method for making theatre.

Who is it for?

If you identify as South Asian and you are curious about performance or theatre then Threads if for you! You don’t need to have any previous experience to attend Threads workshops and you can attend as many as you’d like or just one that interests you. Workshops are for adults 16+.


What to expect?

All of our Threads events are welcoming and inclusive spaces. Each workshop is 1.5 hrs long. Wear clothes you can easily move in and please arrive 15 minutes early.

About Oat

Oat Jenner is a Welsh/Thai actor, teacher and facilitator living in Scotland, he's currently working as a part time acting lecturer at The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Oat’s credits include: Travelling Past (short film), The Tourist (S2 - BBC), The Expendables 4 (Lionsgate films), Julius Caesar (Company of Wolves), Princess Mirror-Belle (CBBC). He trained at the Royal Conservatoire Scotland.
