Storytelling through Hogarth
Come join us for an exciting event at Hogarth's House where we will delve into the world of storytelling through the eyes of the renowned artist, William Hogarth. Discover how his iconic paintings tell intricate stories and learn about the history behind his work. This in-person event is a unique opportunity to explore the art of storytelling in a beautiful setting. Don't miss out! This workshop is a collaboration between St Mary's University, Twickenham and Hogarth's House, as part of a series of events with our exhibition 'Senses and Feelings in Hogarth's World' and as part of the Being Human Festival!
This workshop is open to children in primary and secondary school. We have two workshops running, so do register for whichever is most convenient for yourselves! Adults must accompany children under 12.

10:00-11:30
12:30-14:00
Each session will include the following:
- 30 minutes of introduction to Hogarth and a couple of his prints, looking at how story-telling is demonstrated in his art.
- 20 minutes to explore the exhibition with an interactive activity
- 40 minutes in a facilitated workshop to create your own story!
