Storytelling with Ben Haggarty

Wednesday 2 June 18.00 – 19.30

The Secret Garden, 11 Corn Square, Leominster

Ages 6yrs+

Join us for a creative and energetic retelling of The Man in the Moone, the first (and most extraordinary) work of science fiction to be created, published in 1638 and written by Bishop Francis Godwin whilst living in Herefordshire.

The tale will transport you across the world and into space in the company of adventurer Domingo Gonsales, a small man with a spectacular moustache and an adventurous spirit, as told by tale teller Ben Haggarty, of international acclaim.

“I was spell bound – I don’t use the word lightly” The Times on Ben Haggarty

Ben will be doing two performances in Leominster, so make sure you choose the date you want when you book - he'll be at Baron's Cross on 20 May 2021.
