Join us and brilliant storyteller Liz Fost for an action-packed event to celebrate 80 years of Moomin stories! Moomin and the Great Flood was the first of Tove Janson’s stories about these strange troll-like creatures was published 80 years ago yet they still retain their lasting appeal. During this interactive storytelling session, you will hear tales from Moomin valley and children will also decorate their very own Moomin mask to take home.
Liz Fost has been working as a professional children’s storyteller for many years and has made numerous appearances in Libraries and schools as well at Literary Festivals all over the country. She specializes in events for young children, bringing picture book characters to life. Liz tells stories ‘interactively’ so there is always a lot to join in with ensuring that there is never a dull moment!
