Come join us for a fun and creative jewellery workshop hosted by Jane Atkin! In this hands-on session, you'll learn the art of wax ring carving and create your very own unique piece to take home. No experience required - just bring your creativity and enthusiasm!

I shall figure out the weight and cost in silver on the night and take payment for this, send your ring off for casting and hallmarks, and when I get it back I shall finish the way we agreed, ready for post or collection.

Please note it is for over 18 years due to the tools, if you are close to that age you will need ID . The tools are yours to keep.

There is plenty of free on street parking, a regular bus service form York city centre and train station

Refunds

I have made the event no refunds, this is due to having an upfront cost, however I am happy for either you or I to pass it on at no cost as an act of kindness. ( over 18 years only still applies) Please contact me if you need to arrange this.

18 and over only

Some of the tools we are using and you’ll be taking away with you are only for 18 years plus.

What happens after the event

I shall work out a price of casting in silver, this is payable on the evening, it depends on the weight of the wax converted into silver weight. The cost of casting I have had done is between £35 to £140 for quite a big chunky ring. We shall make collection or postage arrangements at the event.
