Strange Disturbances - a celebration of the Victorian Christmas Ghost Story
Event Information
Description
For the Victorians, Christmas was synonymous with the reading of ghost stories around the fire. Sometimes mildly chilling, sometimes downright macabre, this curious tradition persisted well into the 20th century with all the well-known writers of the day publishing their own take on the Christmas ghost story.
Join Lights & Bushels, Horsham’s award-winning inventive theatre company, as they recreate this tradition in the intimate surroundings of Artisan and prepare to be thoroughly - and festively - spooked.
Tickets include a glass of mulled wine (or non-alcoholic alternative) and mince pie.
