Event description

Description

Meretz UK is delighted to have Dr Keith Khan-Harris speak about his latest much praised and extremely timely book, Strange Hate: Antisemitism, Racism and the Limits of Diversity.

The event takes place on Sunday, 25 August, at the Youth Centre within the JW3 building, Finchley Road, London. We are also very pleased to say that Osama Filali Naji, another past speaker at Meretz UK and the founder/ director of Arab Millennial, will be in discussion with Keith.

Strange Hate particularly investigates the current crisis in the British Labour Party, though also raises themes relevant to Trump’s USA, populism in Europe, Islamophobia, and the Israeli-Palestinian dispute.

Learn more here. And see our brief biography of the speaker.

  • Q&A after presentation, books on sale and refreshments served

  • Option to pay at the door

  • Presented with the support of Hashomer Hatzair Trust
