At UCR, we’ve never been ones to follow the crowd. We’ve always rejected elitism and instead embraced our purpose – to inspire our students’ purpose.

Our shared passion to pioneer sustainability means we focus on the innovation and technology that will transform the agricultural and rural industries. And it’s not just our curriculum that’s distinctive and ahead of the curve – we have a proven track record of being proudly and intentionally inclusive. Our community of students and staff fosters an intrinsic sense of belonging from the day they arrive on campus.

Together, as an academic community, we cultivate our students’ development with industry leading education that equips them with the skills they need to grow, progress and become the specialists they’ve always aspired to be.

We know that no other institution champions land stewardship, student self sufficiency and success in the way that we do.

We are proudly UCR: cultivating the pioneers of our land-based future. It's in our nature.
