About Sheffield Grassroots Culture Makers
Andro & Eve is collaborating with Migration Matters Festival and RivelinCo to pilot Sheffield Grassroots Culture Makers. A network for small, grassroots cultural organisations serving underrepresented communities in the city.
In these volatile times, with grant funding ever harder to secure, and independent culture makers representing marginalised communities struggling to navigate the structures that hold us back, we think we need to work together towards stabilising and resourcing this important work. Our initial focus is on financial sustainability, as we see this as the greatest risk to our work in the immediate future. Find out more via androandeve.com
Sheffield Grassroots Culture Makers Network is kindly supported by Arts Fundraising & Philanthropy.
Andro and Eve are a queer arts organisation based in South Yorkshire. They create memorable events to celebrate queer culture where everyone is welcome. Their programming is focused on voices otherwise marginalised, to reflect and celebrate the diversity that exists within the LGBTQ+ community.
Photography
We may have a photographer present to document our work. Photos captured may be displayed on our website, social media and in online communications. If for whatever reason you do not wish to be photographed, please let one of the Andro and Eve team know and we'll make sure our photographer keeps you out of photos.
