If you are reading this, I know two things:
1: You believe in the incredible potential of children and young people.
2: You know that many of them need emotional and practical support to fully realise this potential.
Stratford Samaritans Community Hub is organising two events on this theme, both supported by Stratford Town Trust. The first, at 1.30pm on Wednesday 15th February at Tyler House, is a networking event for groups that work with young people.
THIS EVENT IS NOW FULLY BOOKED - PLEASE CONTACT HUB MANAGER RACHEL ON 07711 981699.
The event's aims are to:
Find out what services are available locally NOW so that we can improve the quality and accuracy of signposting and referrals.
Map provision so that we have a shared understanding of the local offer including how services are funded.
Find out what we know/what data we collect about the young people we work with and the impact this has on service delivery/development.
Explore the potential for collaborative working, including joint bids for funding.
To make sure that this is a focussed meeting that achieves these aims, we will be asking you to complete a questionnaire in advance.
NB: There is a limit of two delgates per organisation and all delegates must work in the voluntary or statutory sector supporting young people. This is not for private individuals or commercial providers.
It will be followed on Wednesday 15th March with an event for local heads and teachers about Supporting the Emotional Wellbeing of the WHOLE School Community, including students, staff and parents. This event is only for teachers and school staff.
