Event description

Description

At Strathclyde, we are focused on expanding and deepening collaborative relationships with our national and international academic and industrial partners. Accordingly, we are now in the fourth year of the Strategic Technology Partnership (STP) between University of Strathclyde and Capita, which has resulted in twelve PhD Studentships, with a further three Studentships due to start in October 2017. These PhD Studentships are part-funded by the STP Partnership Contribution Fund and are aligned to Capita areas of research interest.

The aim of this event is to provide colleagues and students with an opportunity to hear about the current collaborative Studentship projects and find out more about the research collaborations growing from the Strathclyde Strategic Technology Partnership.

Teas and coffee will be available during the afternoon break and then refreshments afterwards at 3.45pm offering the opportunity for participants to view research poster presentations and network further.

Professor William Kerr will provide a welcome and introduction to the event. Additionally, a number of key collaborating personnel from Capita will attend, including Dr Neil Mackin, Capita's Analytics Director.
