Join folklorist Yvonne for a stroll around Streatham Common and The

Rookery.

We will uncover mysteries, learn about some ancient wells and hear

stories about the famous residents, including some of our American

cousins. Despite difficult conditions, they rose to the occasion and

undertook some incredibly visionary and forward-thinking projects.

Come and learn about The Common, its ancient history, as well as its

beautiful unique gardens.

This 90-minute hill – top stroll includes wonderful views of the local

area, so bring your walking shoes and appropriate clothing! The tour

includes some steps, but we will do our best to accommodate

everybody. If you have accessibility concerns or any other queries,

please contact the organiser.

The walk lasts 90 minutes and booking is essential. Tickets cost £12
