Description

Master the skills you need to create photographs out of the chaos and bustle of street life

Street photography is seen by many as the most essential skill to have as an aspiring photographer. The aim of the workshop is to master the basic techniques of camera functions needed for photographing in the streets, to understand composition and light and gain the confidence for creating photographs out of the chaos and bustle of street life.

The course is for photographers who have a good working knowledge of their cameras and have a desire to learn the history and techniques of street photography. For the purposes of the course, the photographer should have a digital SLR or rangefinder camera with normal and wide angle lenses.

The workshop will leave a photographer with the confidence to tackle photography in the streets, the essential technical skills needed and wider understanding of the history and philosophy of street photography.
