Event description

Description

At our January 2018 edition of StreetTalks we’re asking a big question: should cars be priced off London’s roads?

We’re taking a close look at Gary Raccuja’s Wolfson Economics Prize winning proposal ‘Paying for road use could be miles better’, and asking how far we should take it.

He will be joined by a panel of prestigious transport experts including:

  • Caroline Pidgeon: London Assembly Lib Dem Member, Deputy Chair of the Transport Committee. Caroline led the Committee's investigation into London's congestion challenge.
  • Joe Irvin: CEO of Living Streets and former Senior Adviser in the Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister's office.
  • Natalie Chapman: Head of Policy - London for the Freight Transport Association

Audience members will of course get a chance to ask questions of the panel at the end of the opening debate.

Places are limited so RSVP as soon as possible as they are likely to fill out fast.

Due to limited capacity, we will have to operate first-come-first serve at the door.
