Ever wanted to learn to make best use of your urban environment?
Now you can, during this unique 1 hour fitness session you'll be running, jumping and crawling around the iconic urban terrain alongside the River Thames. You'll feel truly at one with the city and have lots of fun in the process.

We meet at Tate Modern, by the entrance nearest to the back of the Millenium Bridge and then head down the river towards the south bank. We'll be looping back to finish at Tate Modern too.
This isn't just about fitness it's about empowering people and education. We'll teach you how to use the city as your gym so you'll be leaving with skills for life that can be used any place and anytime.
You'll ideally need to be able to run up to 2 miles but don't worry too much about that as it's not continuous. You'll be stopping at regular intervals to perform bodyweight based exercises on street furniture and architectural features.
We don't have any bag drop facilties so we'd recommend you travel light and leave any valuables at home. You don't need any equipment, just trainers and sports kit appropriate for the weather conditions and the urban environment. Feel free to wear lightweight gloves (cycling or similar) if you're worried about your hands but really no need.
You'll be asked to complete a PARQ medical questionnaire on the day so please try to arrive early.
