**Its crucial you tell the Southwark Wellbeing Hub about any medical conditions which could put you at risk when exercising**

Strength and conditioning is a fitness class, designed to increase your overall fitness levels and grow a deeper understanding of how your body gains strength.

The instructor will take you through a variety of exercises suitable for a basic to intermidiate level of fitness which often focuses on a variety of tools to improve:

  • Health
  • Strength
  • Physical Performance

Depending on your personal fitness range you may engage with many of the body weight exercises such as: push-ups, squat jumps, burpees, and jumping jacks. These moves can be taken at your own pace and designed to increase your heart rate, which can improve cardiovascular fitness.
