Event description

Description

Please note: This session in restricted to GSEN Full/Start Up and GWSFHA Members.

An ambitious ten year Scottish Social Enterprise Strategy was launched in December 2016 with the first three year action plan following in April 2017. This strategy has been presented at a time of changing economic and local landscape. This event is aimed at community controlled housing associations and social enterprises from GWSF and GSEN memberships

We will look to utilise the information garnered from the ten year social enterprise strategy direction, priorities and actions to unearth potential opportunities between the housing and social enterprise communities.

We’re delighted to announce our guest speakers are:

· Will Tyler Greig, Head of Social Enterprise in Scottish Government and

· Alan Davidson, Economic Development Manager, DRS in Glasgow City Council

Will and Alan will bring perspective and insight from a national and local level, and following the floor will be open for debate, questions and agreement on how we take a collaborative approach to move forward.

Please note lunch will be provided.
