About this event

Fraud in the public sector is a growing concern, and retrofit funding is no exception. With increasing scrutiny, it's essential that all Social Housing Fund grant recipients understand their responsibilities and have robust processes in place to detect and prevent fraud.

This session, which will be delivered by Deloitte, will provide an essential overview of the support available to grant recipients, and the key steps needed to proactively manage fraud risks. We'll explain the role Deloitte plays in supporting you, and share practical advice to help you strengthen your counter fraud framework, including your Fraud Risk Assessment (FRA) and Fraud Management Plan (FMP).

The session will also explore:

  • The wider landscape of fraud in the public sector
  • What PSFA expect from funded organisations
  • Key fraud risks specific to retrofit schemes
  • The types of controls you should have in place
  • Learnings and common themes from the FRA and FMP reviews completed to date

This event will be hosted online on Microsoft Teams and a link to join the event is included on Eventbrite.
