The ISACA London Chapter, the first in the UK, was established in 1981 and is celebrating its 39th Anniversary this year.  London Chapter, covering London and the South and East of England, has almost 4,000 members who come from a wide cross-section of business including the accountancy and information systems professions, central and local government, the banking, manufacturing and service sectors and academia.  Anyone with an interest in the control of Information Systems is welcome to join. The wide interests of the group are reflected in its objectives which include:

 

  • Promoting Chapter benefits with a focus on educating and helping expand the knowledge and skills of members in the inter-related fields of auditing, quality assurance, security, cyber and IT Governance;
  • Encouraging a free exchange of IT Governance, Quality Assurance, and Information Security techniques, approaches and problem solving by members;
  • Continually improving communications to keep members abreast of current events in the IT Governance, quality assurance, and security fields that can benefit them and their employers.
