Stress Management Planning Night

Are you already wondering how you're going to get through until next Christmas?

If you are already feeling that there is a risk that 2018 may be the year in which your stress levels reached a tipping point, now is the time to take a moment to consciously review what is happening in your life.

What is causing you stress? What can you change? What can't you change? How can you change your stress response?

There are so many different stress management techniques available, it is difficult to assess what might work for you. This is a practical 3 hour workshop which will give you an introduction to how to develop a framework and different strategies that you can use to consciously take charge of your life and make a plan for how you can manage your stress this year.

We will discuss:

  • What is stress? What physical, cognitive and mood impact may it be having on you? What are your warning signs that your stress levels might be becoming unmanageable?

  • How you can review and identify what may be the sources of stress in your life and identify the practical options for dealing with them?

  • What are different methods that can help you to change your stress response when it is simply not possible to change a source of stress, and how can you work out if they are right for you?

You will come out of the night with an increased (maybe even new!) insight into what contributes to your stress levels and also (crucially) a high level understanding of the steps that you can take to better manage this.

It is impossible (and undesirable) to avoid all stress in life. However, there are a number of proactive steps that can be taken to ensure that stress does not become unmanageable. People rarely take the time out to review and plan how to manage the different factors which could have such a significant impact on their well being and life satisfaction.
