This new three-week course equips you with the knowledge and tools to create your own personalised stress management plan

The course will run on Thursdays from 7-8:30pm on the following dates:
8 Mar, 15 Mar and 22 Mar

Learn to manage stress and develop resilience

Are you feeling stressed, overwhelmed or like you can’t cope?

Do you often feel like there’s just not enough time in the day?

Does it seem like everybody else finds it easier to cope?

Is just reading this stressing you out!?

Then maybe this three-week stress management course is for you - we are here to support you in developing your own inner wisdom to guide you through stressful times.

We combine the latest research and stress management techniques with group sharing to create a relaxed learning atmosphere where it's easy to make new friends.

What does the course cover?

Did you know that human beings evolved to get stressed? We'll delve into the science of what’s actually happening in the body and brain when we’re feeling the pressure.

We'll also explore attitudes towards stress. What do we mean by this word resilience? What happens if we approach stress differently. We'll examine our own relationships with stress through a variety of lenses. Could a shift in mindset transform our biggest challenge into our greatest lesson?

A whole host of practical stress management techniques have been developed by leading experts in the fields of mindfulness and positive psychology. We'll explore these together as a group before supporting you in creating your very own personalised stress management plan.

Classes led by Vicky Johnson

Vicky Johnson is co-founder of the Museum of Happiness and has a proven track record of equipping people with vital life skills, so they no longer have to be a victim of stress. Vicky has trained surgeons, A&E staff, business leaders, teachers, young people, and homeless people. She is a qualified mindfulness and meditation teacher who has dedicated her life to sharing the science of happiness and helping people live happier, more fulfilling lives.
