Description

This course will aim to provide you with the knowledge to design and deliver safe and effective flexibility programmes and sessions for your pole and aerial students. You can expect to cover benefits and risks, factors controlling flexibility, methods of training, the science behind flexibilty, finishing with exactly what you need to be flexible for pole and aerial fitness including everything from specific warm ups, to targetted moves to stretch sequences and class plans.

Number of Training Hours:

Pre-course reading: 8-10 hours

Completion of pre-course tasks/assessment prep: 4-6 hours

Recommended practice hours: 20-40

(individual technique pratice, attending classes/workshops/individual CPD, teaching practice, shadowing/co-teaching/working with a mentor/lesson observations)

Face to face training: 8 hours

Cost of Course: £145 (payment on booking)

Pre-requisites: Recommended for existing instructors of Pole and Aerial; or those with equivalent fitness certifications.

Pre-course tasks: You will be required to read the theory section of this course in the Instructor Training Manual prior to attending and complete all related tasks in your Manual. All course documentation will be posted to to you within 7 days of booking.

Assessment: You will be required to complete a short multiple choice theory assessment prior to attending the course.
