What pace do you run at?

Accepted Answer

No  particular pace is set for these tours. This is very much a social, guided run. As a general rule of thumb, if you can run 3k without stopping, you will manage this running tour. There are also stops factored in along the route  at various landmarks to allow us to re-group and catch our breaths!

Question 2

What do I need to wear/bring with me on your running tours?

Accepted Answer

Whatever you generally tend to wear/take with you when out running! Please dress appropriately for the weather (i.e. layers, waterproof) and bring water with you, if you think you may need it.

Question 3

Are there any storage facilities at the meeting point?

Accepted Answer

There will be an opportunity to leave belongings in CoDE's luggage storage at reception but this must be limited to small bags and/or jackets and it is done entirely at your own risk. Neither Stride Out or CoDE  accepts liability for any loss, damage or theft arising from using the luggage storage.

Question 4

Are the tours suitable for children?

Accepted Answer

Children are welcome on our tours, if they are comfortable with running the 5k distance. However, any child under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Are dogs allowed on your tours?

Accepted Answer

Sorry, dogs aren’t allowed on these  running tours. We love our four-legged friends, but for the safety and comfort of all participants, we are unable to accommodate any dogs on these tours.

Question 6

Will the tour be cancelled if the weather is bad?

Accepted Answer

Part of Scotland's charm is its rather unpredictable weather! As such, we run in all weather conditions.  However, we do reserve the right to postpone or cancel any tour in extreme weather conditions if it would be deemed unsafe to go ahead. We would offer a rescheduled date and/or full refund.

Question 7

What is your refund policy if our plans change?

Accepted Answer

You can request a refund up to 48 hours  prior to the tour start time through your Eventbrite account. No refunds will be given for < 48 hours' notice, or for no-shows. Stride Out reserves the right to cancel, amend the timings/route of the tour, without notice, in circumstances beyond our control.
