Frequently asked questions

Do I need to book in advance?

We highly recommend it! Time slots are limited, especially for digital portraits. Quick fire sketches can be reserved online and paid for on the day.

Can I just walk in?

Yes! Walk-ins are welcome if slots are still available — but booking ahead is the best way to guarantee your portrait.

What’s the difference between the two portrait options?

Quick Fire Life Drawing is a fun, loose sketch done live while you sit. It takes around 20 minutes and comes on A4 paper. Photo-to-Illustration is a digital artwork based on your photo taken on the day. Our artists create a custom digital drawing, which is then printed on A5 or A4 and read

Is there a time I need to come back for the digital portrait?

We'll give you a return time when your photo is taken (usually within 45mins).

What if I’m running late?

We’ll do our best to accommodate you, but we recommend arriving 5 minutes early for your slot. Late arrivals may lose their spot during busy times.
