Strive for Five is a free workshop about Five a Day; learn how to use fruit and vegetables for everyday healthier eating.
Cook2Learn offers free cookery workshops in libraries to help you gain new skills around food and healthy eating choices.
Cook2Learn workshops are designed for adults in North Somerset who have not done much cooking before.
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
Cook2Learn workshops are designed for adults.
To attend a Cook2Learn workshop you should be a North Somerset Libraries member. It is free to join the library and you can do so on the day of the workshop. You will need to show identification linking your name and address, such as a driving licence, utility bill (less than three months old) or bank statement.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Parking: There is no car park at Worle Library but there is on-street parking nearby.
Bus: The Number 7, run by First Group stops on the High Street - this runs from Weston-super-Mare town centre.
Train: Worle railway station is nearby and within walking distance.
How can I contact the organiser with any questions?
If you have any questions please have a look at our Cook2Learn website or you can email email@example.com clearly marking the subject as Cook2Learn. Alternatively you can telephone 01275 884315.
I have a special diet, can I still attend a Cook2Learn workshop?
As part of the registration process we ask if you have any food allergies or intolerances. We will do our best to accomodate special diets but will need time to plan the recipes used. None of the Cook2Learn recipes use nuts. All food packets used will be available for you to check ingredients.
What if I need to cancel my ticket?
Places are limited so if you cannot make it to a workshop please let us know as soon as possible so the place can be offered to someone else and we know the correct quantities of ingredients to purchase.
It's easy to cancel your registration from your Eventbrite account. Just log in to Eventbrite, Go to the Tickets page, and locate your order. Click your order to view order details, and then select "Cancel Order" to cancel your registration.
If you have any difficulty cancelling your registration please email firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone 01275 884315.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
You don't have to bring your ticket to attend the workshop but you will find useful information on your ticket. Only those who have registered for a place on the workshop will be able to attend.
Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?
Tickets are not transferable, if you are unable to take your place then please cancel your registration to free up the place for someone else.
What if there are no spaces available on the workshop I want to attend?
If a workshop is sold out a limited number of places are automatically put onto a waiting list, if a place becomes available and you are on the waiting list, you will receive an email notifying you to register if you are still interested.
If you are unsuccessful at getting a workshop place, we will be putting on more Cook2Learn workshops at different libraries so please keep checking back for availability https://cook2learnblog.wordpress.com/
