Description

The Strong & Bendy Workshop is two hours of flows, poses, and balances designed to stretch and strengthen.

It tackles the full body – especially those really tight bits that we don’t usually have time to stretch properly (think hips, hamstrings, and glutes!) and those body parts which we often need to work a bit more on to build strength (think core and shoulders!).

We’ll start off with playful and dynamic flow to wake up our body and tune into our movement before exploring core work, hip openers, backbends and forwards folds to release stress, improve flexibility and build strength.

We’ll have an opportunity to chat about alignment and progressions before exploring poses, stretches, and movements you might not have explored before – think arm balances, headstands and inversions.

I’ll share my top tips and training techniques to improve mobility, find fluidity in movement, and build strength and stability for more advanced poses like forearm stands and handstand so you have the confidence to explore them yourself.

You’ll be free to ask questions throughout and I can give you ideas and practice tips for any specific poses and movements you are working towards.

There’ll be modifications, variations and progressions throughout the whole workshop to suit all levels so, no matter where you are on your yoga journey, you’ll be able to take away things you can use in your regular practice and off the mat too!
