'Strong, Steady and Supported’

A Weekly Wellbeing Workshop for Young People.

Adolescent life can be challenging to navigate. Stressors and pressures can result in anxiety, overwhelm, tension, poor sleep and low self-confidence. Some moments feel like a little too much.

This weekly one-hour workshop is designed to support young people to feel confident, calm, and capable, especially when challenges arise. It aims to equip them with simple, accessible and effective tools to thrive. The approaches learned in sessions are memorable, immediately available and easily (and subtly!) applied in the day-to-day.

Life will always contain challenges which can be more readily, confidently and healthily met.

What will sessions involve?

Breathing techniques to regulate and calm the nervous system and to support mind and body.

Somatic strategies and movement to release stress, reduce overwhelm and process emotion.

Neuro-tools to understand and apply to anxious or limiting thoughts.

Easy role play to practise and embody empowered states and traits.

Peer connection and a bit of fun in a safe, supportive, relaxed setting. Participation is unpressured.

Simple approaches, tips and tools to develop confidence, self-awareness, emotional regulation and self-efficacy.

Who is this for?

Young people aged 10 upwards.

Young people desiring helpful wellbeing tools.

Young people facing difficulties with sleep, anxiety, lack of confidence, school challenges, overload, peer pressure, friendship issues, overthinking, anger, frustration, fear, big emotions….

And young people who are not facing difficulties at all.
