Have you previously sprained your ankle or anxious of turning an angle when descendin? As featured in Women's Running magazine and the National Running Show 2024, this scientific workshop explores a range of methods to help prevent injury and prepare your body for efficient and confident movement in the mountains.

Proprioception is the sixth-sense that underpins your reactions, coordination and efficacy when running over technical or mobile surfaces. Join us to find out more about the role of proprioception in ankle stability and how to use simple drills to get stronger ankles that will improve your trail running perfomance.

Our expert contributors include:

Dr Keri Wallace, Girls on Hills' Co-Founder who has a PhD in proprioceptive plasticity from Cambridge University.

Mariam Kilpatrick, Chartered Physiotherapist at Physio Effect, Glasgow, who specialises in rehabilitating injured athletes

Plus Product Design input from our footwear brand partners INOV8.

The session will be hosted by Keri Wallace.
