Event description
Quirky and creative, Stroud was called the Covent Garden of the Cotswolds by Jasper Conran. It's home to an award winning Farmers Market.

About this Event

Quirky Stroud is the creative capital of the Cotswolds, and a magnet for artists, musicians and writers. A birthplace of the organic movement, Extinction Rebellion and Laurie Lee, it's also home to Damien Hirst's art studios. Explore with me the origins, stories and characters of this 700 year-old market town. We finish at the multi-award winning Stroud Farmers Market - set up by designer Jasper Conran and Isabella Blow - where you can browse the food and crafts, or have a coffee in the country's first fully organic cafe.

Details

The walk starts from The Subscription Rooms in the centre of Stroud at 10am and will last approx 1.5 hours. We will finish at Stroud Farmers Market.

The walk will take place whatever the weather so please dress accordingly. In the event of heavy rain, we will stay undercover as much as possible.
