Sophie Bradshaw - Write a Book to Boost your Business (10.20am - 10.50am)

Sophie is a writing coach and developmental editor with 14 years' experience in the publishing industry. Sophie runs courses and workshops for writers and non-writers who want to publish a book, and take them from initial concept to publishable manuscript. If you have ever thought that writing a book would help your business but haven't done it yet, you are probably one of those people who isn't a natural writer.

Sophie will be delivering a 15-20 minute presentation followed by an interview with StroudNet host, Robin Waite who has successfully published two books in two years.

Sophie runs a regular one-day book-building workshop for businesses, consultants and entrepreneurs, which allows first-time writers to plan their book from scratch and take away a detailed plan for writing with an achievable target. If you think a book could boost your business, email Sophie at sophie@publishing-workshop.com to arrange a conversation.

Main Talk Points:

  • Why you haven't written your book yet
  • Why writing a book is the best thing you can do for your business right now
  • Where to start - some commandments and deadly sins of writing a business book

Money Talks - Fanny Snaith, Richard Cook, Kirsty Tyler (11.00am - 11.40am)

The Masterclass session sees the return of the Panel Q&A with this month's Masterclass being delivered by three money experts during our Panel Q&A session entitled "Money Talks".

Fanny Snaith - Fanny is not an accountant or an IFA. In fact, she has never worked in financial services. She has, however, had plenty of experience with people and money. She has two children, a great husband and has worked hard on building a firm financial foundation to future proof them all.

Having watched her mother lose a large inheritance though careless spending and poor money management, Fanny made the vow to tread a different path. She trained and worked as theatrical stage manager, worked in the television industry as a production manager and spent thirteen years doing ‘all things accounts and contracts’ for a consultancy firm based in the US and the UK.

Now working as a Certified Money Coach(CMC)®, Certified Business Archetype Coach, and Couples Money Coach she enjoys working with people to understand and change their relationship with money so that they can experience their greatest financial and personal potential.

Fanny is committed to helping the world better understand the meaning and purpose of money in our lives. She believes that talking about money, discovering and challenging our belief systems about money, can only make us and the world engage better with the wonderful tool and resource money is meant to be.

Visit Fanny’s website to find out more about Money Coaching. Why not take the Money Type Quiz to find out what kind of relationship you are having with money now? All the info is found here: https://fffighter.com

Richard Cook - Richard has been one of the UK ’s leading pension experts for more than 30 years. He has spoken on financial matters to audiences throughout the world. Richard built a £1 million plus turnover Financial Planning practice in Cheltenham which he sold a few years ago. He is now semi-retired and is a regular attendee at our Networking meetings. He is passionate about helping people to wrest back control of their financial planning from an industry which has let them down so badly.

Kirsty Tyler - Kirsty LLB FPFS SOLLA has 17 years’ experience as a financial adviser and is exceptionally well qualified, becoming a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society in 2012. She is approachable and professional, and talks to her clients in plain English, not jargon. She takes the time to properly understand each client and their life goals before recommending financial solutions. She helps clients make the most of their investments and pensions so they can retire earlier with a better standard of living, protect their family and business from the unexpected, and pay less tax. As an estate planning specialist she has the skills, knowledge and experience necessary to help those whose estates exceed the inheritance tax threshold pass their wealth down to their children in the best way.
