Program Educational Aims and Objectives
The aims of the course are to review:
- The types of dentures available for treatment planning
- Costs to dentists and patients
- Denture design
- The stages of denture construction
Learning Outcomes
- Participants will understand the importance of denture design and treatment planning
- Participants will understand how the costs involved in making different types of dentures.
- They will understand the different stages involved in making a denture and review different techniques

SPEAKER
Julian Smith Dip CDT RCS (Eng)
Spencer qualified as a dental technician in 1993 and has owned a highly-regarded dental laboratory for over 20 years. Realising the increasing demand for high-quality prosthetics, he completed a 3 years Diploma in Clinical Dental Technology
and is now a qualified clinical dental technician. Spencer updates his knowledge and skills by regularly attending courses but is also involved in training dentists in how to make high quality dentures.
